Ticket and Social Media Coordinator
Job Summary:
The Palace of Fine Arts Theatre is seeking a Ticketing Coordinator to join their Team on a Regular, Part Time basis.
Job Description:
Ticket Coordinator/ Box Office Manager
- Managing ticket sales for events
- Being the liaison between the ticketing platforms (PurplePass or Eventbrite) and the production team (our clients)
- Building ticketing pages for events
- Monitoring ticket sales daily
- Pulling financial reports and emailing them to production teams
- Managing Box Office on the day of events
- Managing and maintaining box office equipment
- Aggregating final sales summary reports/ ensuring accuracy on royalty fees and payouts to production teams.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- 1-3 years experience working with a ticketing system, or related field experience
- 1-3 years of professional social media experience
- Service oriented, with strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience working in a theatre or entertainment industry
- Able to successfully handle multiple priorities
- Certain degree of creativity, latitude, and problem solving is required
- Box Office experience a plus
- Overall awareness of the entertainment business is important
- Must have the ability to accommodate a flexible schedule including some weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, good organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Must be computer literate with excellent data entry skills
- H. S. diploma or equivalent required. BA/BS degree is preferred
Hours/Salary: 15 hrs/wk average, $30/hr
