Ticket Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Palace of Fine Arts Theatre is seeking a Ticketing Coordinator to join their Team on a Regular, Part Time basis. 

Job Description:

Ticket Coordinator/ Box Office Manager

  • Managing ticket sales for events
  • Being the liaison between the ticketing platforms (PurplePass or Eventbrite) and the production team (our clients) 
  • Building ticketing pages for events
  • Monitoring ticket sales daily
  • Pulling financial reports and emailing them to production teams 
  • Managing Box Office on the day of events 
  • Managing and maintaining box office equipment
  • Aggregating final sales summary reports/ ensuring accuracy on royalty fees and payouts to production teams. 

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years experience working with a ticketing system, or related field experience
  • 1-3 years of professional social media experience  
  • Service oriented, with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience working in a theatre or entertainment industry
  • Able to successfully handle multiple priorities
  • Certain degree of creativity, latitude, and problem solving is required
  • Box Office experience a plus
  • Overall awareness of the entertainment business is important
  • Must have the ability to accommodate a flexible schedule including some weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, good organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Must be computer literate with excellent data entry skills
  • H. S. diploma or equivalent required. BA/BS degree is preferred
Hours/Salary: 15 hrs/wk average, $30/hr
